Nao Robot is a humanoid robot developed by Aldebaran Robotics in a robotic company in France headquartered in Paris. This Nao robot began its project launch and development in 2004. Robot Nao is fully in programs that can walk, talk, hear the other person and recognize faces.

Bruno Maisonnier Aldebaran who developed Nao Robot in 2005 before Bruno Maisonner had developed this Robot Nao in 2004. Six prototypes of Nao were designed in 2005 and 2007 namely January 2005 - March 2006 (AL-01, AL-02, AL- 03) September 2005 - July 2006 (AL-04) June 2006 - June 2007 (AL-05.a) May 2007 - December 2007 (AL-05.b). The Nao Academics Edition was released to universities, educational institutions and laboratory research in late 2008.

Nao Robot Made from a unique combination of hardware and software, NAO consists of sensors, motors and software driven by NAOqi, a special operating system. This combination of technologies gives NAO the ability to detect its environment. By using embedded software, NAO can then interpret what has been detected and activate the programmed response. Creating complex behavior, accessing data captured by sensors, and controlling robots made possible by the movement library, available through graphical tools such as software Choregraphe programming.
